The paradox of Nihilism. If we truly believe this, what keeps restraining us from acting on those beliefs, and does that make us hypocritical?

Do I get to do what I want, with no one watching over me?
If there isn’t a God, then who will I be
Will I get to live my life totally free?

I can do what I want, without some fear of consequence

Does it mean in the end, I’ll never exist?

When things don’t go my way
When the world gets cruel and good people die
Will getting even save the day?

To make things better for me
If evolution’s just doing its job

If there isn’t a God, then why should I care
When the world is dead and gone, in just a few more million years
